Lauren Halsey, Keepers of the Krown The Venice Art Biennale exhibitions at the Arsenal are housed in Venice's famous old arsenal, a unique opportunity to visit it since outside the Biennale this space is closed to the public.

So it's not just an artistic visit that awaits you, but also a historical one.

As at the Giardini, there are both national pavilions here, with the works exhibited generally corresponding to the choice of the Ministries of Culture of each country, and a common space, the central pavilion at the Giardini, and the Corderie at the Arsenal.

Lauren Halsey, Keepers of the Krown In these two international venues, the choice of artists exhibited depends solely on the curator of the Art Biennale, and obviously according to the theme of each one.

We haven't photographed all the artists on show, but we've tried to bring you the ones we thought were the most interesting, and the most creative too.
