Adventurers in costume with golden masks, dressed in yellow and gold clothes, adorned with floral motifs and wearing hats topped with a hot air balloon, a sailing boat or even a horse-drawn carriage, reminded us of the story of those Venetians who, like Marco Polo, travelled the world and opened the minds of their contemporaries to foreign civilisations.

A little further on, in front of the entrance to the Venetian Arsenal, music was in the spotlight, Vivaldi, a child of Venice, would have been delighted.

A couple of musicians in particularly chic evening wear, in blue, red and pink, took originality to the extreme by wearing a violin-shaped mask for the gentleman and a particularly elaborate headdress for the lady with a grand piano, trumpet, horn, harps and saxophone. What could be better?
