Their paintings show trans bodies by denaturalising gender.

Romualdo Locatelli (1905-1943)

Romualdo Locatelli was an Italian from Bergamo who studied art at the Carrara Academy. He ended his life in Manila in the Philippines.

His painting "Legong Dance" was painted during his stay in Bali, Indonesia.

It depicts the sinuous movements of a young dancer holding a fan.
