Serge Attukwei Clottey “Afrogallonism, Time and Chance” Venice International Architecture Biennale
Attukwei Clottey As part of the “Laboratory of the Future” at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, Serge Attukwei Clottey recreated his “Afrogallonism” project for Venice.
His work extends and stretches almost biologically above the water of the Venetian Arsenal basin.
Its shape is defined by its weight suspended above the water in which it is reflected while capturing its light.
Some of his work is also exhibited inside the Arsenal rope factory.
Serge Attukwei Clottey created his “Afrogallonism” from reworked plastic waste and reinvented it to give life to it.
